This 1967 Triumph Bonneville TR120 650 was purchased in 2013 and has been completely rebuilt.

It is powered by a 649cc parallel-twin mated to a four-speed transmission and is finished with the original colored paint, black frame and aubergine (purple) upper section, with a white lower section on the tank. This color combination was applied after the original aubergine upper and gold lower.

The tachometer and spedometer gauges are in working order and the mileage registers 532 since the rebuild. The engine and frame are matching numbers.

The motor and transmission were rebuilt at Rabers in San Jose, California. I have all of the receipts for the work which was done under my ownership. Raber’s replaced the pistons and rings, did the valves, replaced the clutch, replaced the oil pump and rebuilt the transmission along with installing a new clutch.

Features include a newer set of Amal monoblock carburetors, aluminum taillight housing, black grips in the correct Amal style, a mirror on the left handlebar and a black saddle. The ignition is electronic with the correct type of battery for this system.
I have always used leaded high octane fuel on this bike. The fuel tank was cleaned and lined with a tank sealer. The person I purchased the bike from said that the tank was painted back East by Don Hutchions. I can only take the word as there is no paperwork to prove this information.

Attention to detail has been applied to the rebuilding. The frame was repainted with Dupont enamel; the tires are Dunlop Gold Seal K70 tires measuring 3.25×19″ up front and 4×18″ at the rear. The rims are Dunlop type which have been rechromed with stainless steel spokes. Braking is from leading-shoe drums front and rear, and the suspension features a telescoping fork in front and twin shocks at the rear Instrumentation includes a Smiths gray-face 10k-rpm tachometer and a 150-mph speedometer mounted on UK-spec handlebars. A Lucas amp meter and a switch to control the headlight are mounted to the headlight housing.

I set up the bike to ride. Not to show. Please use the photos as a point of reference for this motorcycle. Included in the sale price is a 1967 TR6 touring tank with the parcel grid painted in the T120 tank colors. The bike has current registration, a clean title and a vintage black California license plate.

I don’t ride much anymore and it would be sad to see the bike just sit unused. She starts on the fist kick and will run all day long.
