1974 Norton Commando Roadster 850 for sale

This is a #’s matching bike that has had a full upgrade from top to bottom using Colorado Norton Works parts has CNC head with titanium valves bee hive springs SUDCO dyno flowed and matched Keihn carb kit new exhaust pipes stainless steel flanges belt drive dry clutch kit uses every Colorado Norton Works part on bike. New shouldered polished aluminum rims 18″ rear wheel conversion with stainless steel spokes. Steel tank and covers in Roadster colors. Corbin seat; bike starts and rides excellently. All upgrades from Colorado Norton Works including rare and expensive CNC (Computer Numerical Control) Head ($2700 for bare head alone).

Dual Keihin FCR35 flat-slide carburetors ($1500) installed with Colorado Norton Works (CNW) designed, engineered, built and polished intake manifold $300). Two or three squirts and one kick and the bike is running settling into a nice idle. Because of the accelerator pumps the throttle response is instant. Watch video of cold start and walk around.
Clutch and belt drive are new. Paint is flawless with deep clear urethane clear coat over hand pin-striping. Battery is new and ignition is electronic. Valves have been set recently; anti wet sump valve has been installed.
Included with sale is the stock 19″ rear wheel with aluminum rim and stock seat in very good condition. Buyer must arrange pick up of these parts with shipper as I will not box and ship.
A CNW Norton build at this level would be a donor bike and approximately $30K
There are 29864 miles on this bike since it left the factory in ’74 but just 149 miles since rebuild/restoration. This may increase slightly as I may take it for a ride or two before auction end.
This motorcycle will be sold on Clean/Clear Arizona title in my name.

There is nothing that needs repaired; the bike is ready to ride and/or show as is. The hand grips are a bit worn and could be replaced, new owner can replace them with grips of choice. The current grips have a good feel to me; that’s why I haven’t replaced them.
